Serbia has just joined C-Roads platform –  a joint initiative of European Member States and road operators which are in the phase of installing C-ITS (Cooperative ITS) for testing and operation. This platform takes care that pilot installations are harmonised, ensuring interoperability based on cooperation within the C-Roads Platform. Becoming an Associated Member, Serbia commits itself to apply ‘C-Roads approved’ specifications when realizing C-ITS pilot deployments, joining family of aligned C-ITS implementations accross Europe.

 

Idea from previous years now becomes reality. Serbian ITS Association congratulates Serbian Ministry of constructions, transport and infrastructure and Minister Goran Vesic on this step. Looking forward to exciting and coordinated steps towards up-to-date coordinated ITS systems.
