At the conference, held in April in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, we were deeply honored that one of the founders of our Association, Prof. Dr. Dušan Mladenović, received a recognition award for his outstanding contribution to the development of the conference and to the field of traffic safety as a whole. We extend our sincere congratulations to Prof. Mladenović on this well-deserved recognition.

 

During the conference, Dušan Mladenović and Miroslav Petrović, members of the Management Board of our Association, were entrusted with organizing and moderating the plenary session panel discussion titled “Application of ITS Technologies in the Field of Traffic Safety,” as well as chairing the technical session dedicated to research papers in this area.

 

Plenary session has been opened by the inspiring presentations of Dr. Katie Evans, Assistant Professor, Ethics & Governance of AI at the Sorbonne University and Vladimir Vorotović FCILT, Chief Innovation Officer at ERTICO – ITS Europe.
