This year’s 6^th Serbian Road Congress was held from June 4^th to June 5^th 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade. As usual, the Congress brought together leading experts and key stakeholders from the road infrastructure sector.

 

ITS Serbia, as a partner of the organizer – the Serbian Road Society “Via-Vita” – proudly supported the Congress through the active participation of its members in a wide range of program activities.

 

As innovation and digitalisation were among the key thematic pillars of the Congress program, ITS Serbia contributed through the involvement of its representatives in the Program Committee, a plenary lecture, as well as the moderation and participation in a panel session during the plenary meeting on the first day of the Congress. Members of ITS Serbia also moderated several technical sessions and presented a number of professional papers on the second day of the event.

 

All presentations addressed the increasingly important role of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and advanced technologies in the development, operation, and maintenance of modern road infrastructure.
