JP “Putevi Srbije” – PE “Roads of Serbia” becomes strategic member of ITS Serbia, paving the way for further development of intelligent transport system in Serbia on the cutting edge level.

PE “Roads of Serbia” manages road network which consists of around 17.000 km main state roads of I and II category within the Republic of Serbia. This network includes roads, bridges, tunnels and all other relevant infrastructure for road transport, including toll payment systems.

 

Sector for Traffic Control Information Systems is in charge of traffic control systems on the state roads, presenting important element in development, implementation and exploitation of ITS in Serbia. Membership in ITS Serbia will enable sharing of knowledge and experience throughout relevant network of ITS professionals not only within country, but also within Europe and even worldwide.
