The 2025 ITS World Congress, held in Atlanta from August 24^th to August 28^th, recorded its greatest success to date, gathering nearly 6,000 participants from 61 countries. Under the theme “Deploying Today, Empowering Tomorrow” the congress highlighted how innovations in transportation contribute to safety, efficiency, and accessibility.

 

In collaboration with ITS America, ITS Asia-Pacific, ERTICO – ITS Europe, and organized by RX, the event included numerous sessions on the application of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and preparations for major events such as the 2026 World Cup.

 

Laura Chace, President of ITS America, emphasized that smart technology is already improving everyday life—from accurate bus arrivals to reducing traffic accidents—and that further investment can bring even greater changes.

 

The event demonstrated global commitment to the development of intelligent transportation systems and encouraged knowledge sharing and innovation that will shape the future of mobility.
